Today is my first prenatal visit. Sometimes I will be seeing the doctor, and sometimes I will be seeing the nurse practitioner. They checked my blood pressure, weight, urinalysis, CBC, hepatitis and other microbiology tests. Since this is the first visit, and I am still pretty early, so there's not much to "do".
I told the nurse practitioner that my belly looks so small. It doesn't look like I am pregnant at all. I don't feel pregnant. I so hope to feel something different...
The nurse practitioner introduced me to a non-fish source of DHA, Expecta. She told me if I am concerned about mercury contamination in regular fish oil, I can take this, because it is synthetic. Well, good to know! I will head to the CVS right now!
